Curriculum:
Professional Medical Technician Program (PMT) – A Special Certification for highly trained individuals who have passed four of the certifications below and completion of classroom, clinical and PMT certification Exam. The program is 6 months and allows students the ability to earn multiple certifcations after completing the program.

EKG/ECG (Electrocardiogram) Technician – performs EKG tests that record and monitor electrical impulses transmitted by the heart.
Medical Assistant – performs clinical and administrative tasks for physicians and other health care practitioners.
Medical Office Assistant – Performs administrative duties for health care providers in office settings.
Patient Care Technician – Performs routine tasks in health care facilities under the supervision of medical and nursing staff.

Optional Add on Certification Courses to the PMT program include:
Insurance and Coding Specialist – Works as a health or insurance claims processor for a medical, dental, chiropractic, insurance company or contract worker. (2 month class)
Pharmacy Technician – Manages pharmacy assistants or does the work of a pharmacy aid in retail or hospital pharmacies. (2 month class)

EKG Certification Class (64 hours)
A two month stand alone Certification program for students with medical background to earn their California State and National Certifications.
